Patterns
Currently in Phoenix waiting for my connecting, and so far my flight is on-time. Nice. Very much looking forward to crawling into my own bed and have some quality pillow drools. Hawaii, I'll admit, I missed you. Time to go home.Lurk

Day one @ the Con over and done. Highlight of the day has to be the Doctor Who & Torchwood panels. Fangirl represent!
Most def' looking forward to Kevin Smith's panel tomorrow. '07's panel was epic. Hope to explore the smaller booths a bit more. Never really know what fancy one might find.
Current state? Squidbillies on the TV, ramen about to enter the tummy, and San Diego's night pulse to be explored. Hi, I'm on vacation.
Want anything? Technology me, I'll try =)

Take to the air!
Erica had flight problems coming out of NYC, with a 2 hour tarmac wait as the weather cleared & and a handful of planes departed.
My own airline story wasn't too bad, with a few inconveniences here and there.
HNL to PHX 10:55 pm original departure time (odt)
Delayed coming out of Hawaii 2 hours due to a faulty fuel pump. Not amused for having stayed in the plane while they fixed the problem, but glad it was found out before taking off. Added plus? Empty seat next to me! Yaaaa!
PHX to TUS 8:54 am odt
Missed the connecting flight to Tucson and was re-booked for the 1:30 pm flight. Having anticipated our late arrival, US Airways handled the situation pretty well with agents waiting with our new connecting tickets. Unfortunately the trend of being delayed continued as the flight was pushed back till 2:30 pm due to late arriving plane & a/c problems. Ultimately wasn't fixed, and they allowed us on board for takeoff ... or so we thought. Mesa didn't think the plane would be fixed in time so they sent our baggage to another gate/plane. A hour wait while they loaded up the baggage on our plane, everyone was pretty much miserable with no a/c. And let's be honest, it was getting a bit ripe in there. Finally, finally took off, and finally finally Tucson!
My butt hurts, the feet are crampy, am hungry & grouchy, but my mouth is at least minty fresh, I'm alive, and have Comic Con to look forward too. ^5 glass half full.
Still have a 6+ hours road trip to San Diego to look forward too. At least it will be with good company. Extremely good company.

Socks FTW! Vacuum = TO DO this weekend.
+ 40 minute accident traffic pow-wow > Median cruise ticket.
Almost felt bad for the driver. Almost.

+ Full Throttle inspires naughty flirts with sleepy winks.
The tired was too strong. Next time, real cup of joe, please and thank you. Hooray for the weekend.
Oh, and SUPER STOKED to see Arizona & New York in just a couple of days. Of course, Comic-Con is the sweet icing on the cake!!!!

Reason #1259569 why Phil is awesome.
[ Phil ] : depreciate? how about we appreciate how we're able to hold it because we weren't the person in the accident a few hundred yards away :)

And destiny gets nervous

Those fancy ladies ... reading/listening to their wild adventures is quite the eye popping experience, yet the topics become a bit much. 99% of the time my brain is at a loss for words. Stating that I'm way out of my league is an understatement. If they choose to live as so, terrific! They're having fun? Awesome! It's just not who I am. Some things should remain sacred.
Interestingly, as I type this, Copeland's "Coffee" currently plays in the background. If you haven't heard, or any Copeland song for that matter, I recommend a check out if you favor a melodic listen matched with borderline cheese. I adore this particular lyric.

My wise-ass mouth may spout out a big game, yet it's my natural defense. Truth? Ultimate comfort, do want. A bit too old fashion for my own good, and that's fine.
Cheer up emo kid.
