Saw a lot of phallic cacti. Or maybe it's just my mind. Yea, probably.
Encountered 3 border patrol stops, with the last being the worst.
Border patrol tip: In a car of two Puerto Ricans and an Asian, make sure the Asian is driving to breeze through border patrol check points without a second glance.
Someone is in troubllleeeee.
Go Environment!
Twisted through some mountain roads, which made me reminisce a bit of the MR2/AE86 days. Ahh youth.
Twitter kept Cece amused in the backseat and she found out that hardcore fans were already in line for the Twilight panel the next day. Twilight ... *facepalm*

Made it to San Diego just as the GPS predicted, around 3-ish? Dropped Erica off at her hostel and made our way to our own hotel. Hampton Inn San Diego Downtown was on spot with their organization. The check in line was long, but moved very quickly. Hello 6 day home.
This bed is definitely as comfy as it looks.
Pretty pretty bay view.
Somewhat settled into the hotel room and received a call with some news from home. Hmm. Didn't really have time to mull it over as we needed to get to the convention center to grab our passes.
Yay sushi! This little dude sold out quick, thank goodness for preview night passes!
Having piloted the entire drive from Tuscon to San Diego, I can safely say that I love cruise control. Love it. Oh, and that McDonald bathrooms are generally the cleanest to pit stop. Just sayin'. My eyes hurt, it's time to crash into that comfy bed. Snore-y, McSnore-snore, sing sing sing!
