Break-ups: Work edition

Spent the last couple of days preparing for a co-workers departure. Having worked with her for about 2.5 years (in 2 departments!), we developed a friendship outside of the office, which is kind of rare now-a-days. Plus she's a huge No Doubt/Gwen Stefani fan, so of course we're buddies! Her departure was for the best though. Growth is always a terrific thing.

In tradition, her cubbie was decorated starring her favorite obsession: Twilight. Steamers, hanging metallic stars, and the pièce de résistance ... an Edward cut-out. Oh my goodness the tittering it caused! You'd swear the darn thing was real the way the women were fawning & taking pictures with it. I think it's on her ceiling over her bed now. I'm sure her bf is thrilled hahaha.

At the end of the night there were no good-byes, just hugs and a "till we see each other again". Definitely.
