I like this time of the year.

Volunteers were instructed to load up on gingerbread essentials to assist the families with their masterpieces. Kangaroo pouch of YUM!

Being a gingerbread gopher was fun. There were quite a lot of grandparents with their grandkids, just enjoying their time together. Majority of the parents looked like they had more fun creating the houses than their kids, who were more interested in putting the candies into their mouths.

Starwood and Hilton participated in a corporate competition on the side, and it was serious business.

Li-hing mui rock cabin & arare temple!!! So very neat.


Hilton's Iolani Palace captured the spirit of the gingerbread - gingerbread theme best. Their entire design was very clean and on-point.

Volunteering at this event was a great kick off for the holiday season, and I was/am very grateful for the opportunity. 'Tis the season!
