HNL to SEA

Earlier in the year, my sister and I realized we requested for the exact same days off in October. Around the time of the realization, Hawaiian Air was advertising enticing one-way West Coast specials. Sensing an opportunity to jump off the island, we schemed a 10 day Seattle - San Jose - San Francisco itinerary with hopes of adventure and family catch ups with various relatives along the way.

Being a new iPhone4 owner (YAY!), I decided to forgo my point & shoot and take a chance on my phone's touted photo capabilities. So very glad I did.

Mandi was serious business.

Let's fly.

Stokedfaces.

Obligatory Hipstamatic postcard.

We almost flew off the planet.

Deplaning has to be one of my least favorite things to do. As soon as the airplane stops, everyone jack-in-the-box's from their chairs and rush to grab their bags. Then wait. And wait. And wait for the doors to open. Maybe they were just really excited to get off the plane. Or had to poop. What I do know is that more than one person decided to fart as soon as people started to rustle around because all of a sudden everyone's noses started to twitch as something foul hit the air. Good cover, but dammmnnn.

Assholes.

Similar to my Tuscan arrival, the luggage carousel stopped just as my bags dropped. Took a sat, and watched my sister get irritated.

4 night home. ShuttleExpress earned high praise from two tired and hungry travelers for transporting us to the formally known Alaska Building in great time.

1am Eggplant-Prosciutto-Red Bell Pepper-Mushroom-Spinach delivery. I was liking the mainland already. Oh, so yum.

Unpacked, faceshoved, showered, and got comfy warm in record time. TV watched me fall asleep, and I didn't mind one bit. Vacation!
